Reborn.
It is quite fitting that my name actually means reborn. I grew up calling myself a Christian, but I didn’t grow up knowing anything about Jesus except Christmas and Easter. After decades of wayward living I turned my life over to the Lord and have been living for Him ever since.
Meet Renee.
Family.
I married my wonderful husband, Forrest, in 2013. We each brought a son into the marriage so we have two boys, one in high school and one in college. I’m originally from Michigan, but now call Seabrook, TX home.
Our Story.
Our marriage wasn’t always peachy. We were both Christians when we married, but we each brought bad habits, wrong thinking, and a whole lot of baggage into the marriage. Our story is one of redemption, miracles, and new beginnings. We share our full story, including the role of prayer, in the Mountain Moving Prayer Workshop.
Hobbies.
Over the years I have enjoyed all types of fitness including kickboxing, marathons, and body building. Today I’m into more low-key workouts and spend a lot of time prayer walking. I love my time outdoors and our latest adventure includes overlanding! (Or car-camping as I like to call it.)
For God’s Glory.
Forrest and I both agree that God didn’t restore our marriage just so we could be happy. We share our story openly with all the skeletons because we believe in the power of testimony. The time I spent on my knees while our marriage was broken became the building blocks for this ministry. We share it all freely for God’s glory.
